Personal
-I'm finally out of "debt". My computer, and my holiday excess are out of the way. Not that that's really affected my spending this whole time since but... I can go back to saving a shitload more.
-I'm finding myself with very little patience lately. Of the shut-up-or-I-make-stabby variety. Unfortunetly I rarely have anyone to be pissed at but myself. If I had a little more free time and a little more sanity I think I'd take up some kind of cause, but I don't really care about much other than crazy ideologies and what costume Spider-man wears.
-BRING BACK THE BLACK COSTUME.

-Picked up the rest of Road To Civil War that Marvel has out. Originally Civil War didn't interest me at all, especially with Annihilation out at the same time. But the Amazing Spider-man ishes were great, and I really want to see how this whole Doom-and-Mjolnir thing goes down.
-Also picked up the first couple issues of Planet Hulk, which I decided to get into after Illuminati. Never really been into the Hulk beforehand, but this seems like its going to be fun. But mostly I want to follow it so I can see exactly what goes down when and if he gets back to Earth.
My comics
-Anyone know a good PHP blogging tool? I wanted to incorporate the newsposts directly into the main SA page and avoid using frames but I just don't like Blogger. I can use it if need be but I was hoping to find something I could just install onto the site.
Movies
-Caught two baseball-related flicks lately. Thorton's Bad News Bears wasn't bad but was completely unnecessary to be made in the first place. Benchwarmers was, however, much better than I expected. Put a muzzle on Jon Heder and give Swardson more lines and it would have been great.

-Penny Arcade is really getting back to the Gabe-is-stupid-and-Tycho-hates-it basics. This amuses me so. Altho I don't think they can top the Leaf-Eyed Devils from a week or so ago.

-Annihilation started today with the Silver Surfer. I was really hoping Galactus ends up playing a part, and this Herald Hunt seems to imply he might. :)
-Speaking of the Big G, is Marvel Zombies doesn't have a sequel after ending like that, I'm gonna be pissed.
-Moon Knight's new line seems promising, but fuck that was boring even for a first issue. Give us something, Khonshu! Stoopid Moon God!
-Started reading Spiderman Loves Mary Jane today, originally because I love Miyazawa's art but I actually like what I've read so far. Yes, I am a 12 year old girl. The secret is out.
My comics
-Advent 0-2 are nearly fully scripted (0 was getting long so I broke it up, which means I can start posting sooner), and I'm happy with it. They cover the abridged history of the Aphotic, the Hero Rush of Beacon, and Jeremy's origins in depth from dropping out of college to the events with Atramen, Binary Bill and EVD and ends right at the first few strips of Plaza) but I'm having a hell of a time bringing myself to draw it. Altho I do have a nice inking of the page 2 redo in front of me (I'll scan in when I finish the last panel).
-As much as I love it, I think I'm gonna have to put High Moon off indefinitely. The premise is perfect but... I can't figure out where to go from there. :(
Movies
-Caught the Island tonight. For an action flick, I thought it was fucking awesome. For about an hour and a half. That entire last half hour felt tacked on and really dragged because of it. But everything else before that... awesome. Particularly the vehicle designs.
Stuff I bought
-My Mojo toy arrived yesterday. This makes me immensely happy. Its not even that I'm a huge fan of Mojo but... I still remember going to Toys R Us as a kid (he was an exclusive there) and riding away, dejected, because they were all sold out... But now I have him! Tyler 1, Painful Childhood Memories 3467!
-Ordered the Chrono Cross art book. Alex showed me that a while ago but I forgot to buy it. But my tax check cleared today so I figured why the hell not.
Stuff I want
-Anyone know someone who makes, like, replicas of famous guitars? I want to get a copy of Haruko's Rickenbacker (would have to be a custom job, I'd imagine) but real 4001's are expensive. :(
